CLEANROOM / PHARMACEUTICAL DOORS
DESCRIPTION
Clark's Cleanroom/Pharmaceutical doors are power or manually operated
to suit your needs. Door seals tightly on frame with inclined door
track.
APPLICATIONS
Environmental Traffic Control:
Clark Cleanroom/Pharmaceutical doors are designed for interior openings
where frequent operation and maximum attractiveness are required
for control of temperature, humidity, sound, dust and dirt. Perfect
for clean rooms, pharmaceutical, processing areas and computer rooms.
CONSTRUCTION
Face Mounted Frame:
Vertical casings and header are Arctic white reinforced pultruded
fiberglass, easy to clean, corrosion free and never need painting.
Casings and header are factory drilled and marked for rapid field
assembly and perfect alignment.
Panel:
Door panel is constructed with 18 Ga. #304 2B stainless steel perimeter
channel, joined at corner sections with aluminum-magnesium cast
corners, and clad with 24 Ga. #304 2B stainless steel. All seams
to be sealed. Meets FDA, USDA-MID and Agriculture Canada requirements.
Insulation:
Clark doors are filled with environmentally friendly, NON-CFC polyurethane
insulation "R" - 7.8 per inch that provides outstanding strength
and rigidity to the door as well as excellent thermal and acoustical
performance. The insulation is injected to fill the door without
voids. Panel facings are chemically fused to the insulation to provide
vapor tight construction.
Vision Panel:
The Clark vision panel comes with a standard view size of 30" x
36" safety laminate pane to provide maximum vision through the door.
The vision frame is tapered to resist dust and for easy cleaning.
Track:
Double "J" track and hardware factory mounted on header. Double
"J" track prevents door panel from lifting out of position. 4 wheel
trolley assembly provides long wear on track.
Seals:
Grease resistant, reinforced knife type seals around the full perimeter
of opening with "skirt" type seal on bottom or door panel. Concealed
glide roller assembly holds the door tight to the frame when panel
is closed.
Hood:
Tapered, low profile, full width 18 Ga. #304 2B stainless steel
hood over track/operator.
Auto-Close with Hold Open Provision:
Manual doors are fitted with an adjustable tension spring closer
to gently return the door to the closed position. Moving the door
panel to the full open position will engage the hold open position,
allowing the door to stay open until nudged out of the hold open
state.
POWER DRIVE
Model 1000:
TEFC fractional HP synchronous AC motor coupled to 20:1 worm gear
in oil bath totally enclosed for life. Adjustable, precision machined
torque limiter designed to slip on overload only. Smooth operation
with "soft" start and stop. Operates at average speed of 20 inches
per second. (2) remote pushbuttons for open/close controls. Control
voltage 24 vac. Entire system NEMA 4 standard. Full height, instant
reverse safety edge - non-electric. Drive chain to be fully enclosed
in galvanized steel drive track. Manual safety release. Electric
overload protection.
Options:
- Bi-parting and vertical lift doors are available in pharmaceutical
door construction.
- Optional finishes include Kayon (PVC) plastic wear surfaces
on door. Consult factory for color selection.
- Locking devices.
- Dual speed operator available 40 ips to open / 20 ips to close.
- Class I, Div. 1, Group C & D explosion proof available.
CONTROLS
- Pushbutton control is standard supplied with (2) single button
pushstations - 24 vac switches.
- Time delay option available to automatically close the door.
- Motion detectors or photocell for open/close/safety reverse.
- Radio controls are available as a vehicle operated system of
door control.
OPTIONAL OPERATORS
Clark Cobra Dual-Speed, High Speed Operator
The Cobra was designed specifically for those openings that
demand rapid access, opening at speeds up to 60 inches per second
per panel with a safe, slower closing speed. The Cobra incorporates
the Clark 10000 operator transmission and employs an AC voltage inverter
which provides smooth acceleration, fast operation and smooth deceleration
to a precise stop. All operations are factory set prior to shipment.
A programmable ramp generator enables precisely defined acceleration
and deceleration of the motor with adjustable jerk control. This provides
smooth, quiet acceleration with precise stopping.
Clark 9600 Hydraulic Operator - Single or Dual Speed
The Clark 9600 Hydraulic Operator is designed for rapid opening
with the simplicity of hydraulics. The 9600 incorporates the Clark
10000 operator transmission and combines a 1 HP electric motor,
hydraulic pump and control valve into one compact unit. High starting
torque provides fast, smooth acceleration to a precise stop. The
single speed unit operates at 25 inches per second per panel and
the dual-speed at 60 ips to open and 30 ips to close.
