DOUBLE HORIZONTAL SLIDE DOORS
DESCRIPTION
Clark's Bi-Parting horizontal slide doors (DHS) are power or manually
operated to suit your needs. Opening speeds are twice as fast as single
slide doors and ideally suited for large openings with high speed
traffic. Door seals tightly on frame with inclined door track. Available
in fiver temperature ranges for refrigerated and storage areas.
APPLICATIONS
Clark DHS doors clear the opening rapidly, an 8 foot opening requires
2.5 seconds with our standard 10000 operator. Primarily used to
provide rapid access to cold storage, processing or other temperature
critical areas. These doors are ideal in high traffic areas and
can be used in interior or exterior applications.
CONSTRUCTION
Face Mounted Frame:
Vertical casings and header are Arctic white reinforced pultruded
fiberglass. Casings and header are factory drilled and marked for
rapid field assembly and perfect alignment.
Panel:
Door panel is constructed with 18 Ga. #304 2B stainless steel perimeter
channel, joined at corner sections with aluminum-magnesium cast
corners, and clad with 26 Ga. G-90 galvanized steel, white painted
with non-directional stucco embossed pattern. Finish paint to be
Imperial white modified polyester with a dry film thickness of 1.0
mil inclusive of primer coat. All seams to be sealed. Meets USDA-MID
and Agriculture Canada requirements.
Track:
Duo-wedge double "J" track and hardware factory mounted on header.
Door glides down and in on inclined track for positive seal and
immediate clearance of gaskets when opening. Double "J" track prevents
door panel from lifting out of position.
POWER DRIVE
Model 10000:
TEFC fractional HP synchronous AC motor coupled to 20:1 worm gear
in oil bath totally enclosed for life. Adjustable, precision machined
torque limiter designed to slip on overload only. Smooth, quiet
operation with "soft" start and stop. Operates at average speed
of 40 inches per second on DHS doors. (2) remote pullcords for open/close
controls. Control voltage 2 vac. Entire system NEMA 4 standard.
Full height, instant reverse safety edge - non-electric. Drive chain
to be fully enclosed in galvanized steel drive track.
Insulation:
Clark doors are filled with environmentally friendly, non-CFC polyurethane
insulation "R"-7.8 per inch that provides outstanding strength and
rigidity to the door as well as excellent thermal and acoustical
performance. The insulation is injected to fill the door without
voids. Steel facings are chemically fused to the insulation to provide
vapor tight construction.
Features:
- Manual safety release.
- Adjustable, grease resistant, reinforced bulb type seals on
perimeter.
- Freezer doors are heated at gasket areas to prevent freezing.
- 4-wheel trolley assembly provides long wear on track.
- Instant reverse full height safety edge.
- Enclosed drive chain and sliding shoes.
- Break-a-way roller assemblies. 24 volt control switches.
- Precision ground shafts and hardened gears.
- Electric overload protection.
- Adjustable torque limiter - slip on overload only.
OPTIONAL FEATURES
- Optional finishes include 22 or 24 gauge galvanized steel with
or without stucco embossing and paint - Aluminum, FRP and stainless
steel surfaces are available, Kayon (PVC) plastic wear surfaces
on door and frame.
- Locking devices - electric cut-off HASP.
- Pedestrian partial opening switches.
- Heavy duty door heaters.
- Viewing windows.
- Heated control panel.
- Inside casings.
- Personnel escape wicket doors.
- Meat rail provision.
- High speed electric or hydraulic operators - up to 80 ips.
- Dual speed operator: 80 ips to open / 40 ips to close.
- Class l, Div 1, Group C & D explosion proof available.
CONTROLS
- Pullcord control is standard supplied with heavy duty cast aluminum
24 vac switches (heated inside freezer application).
- Time delay option available to automatically close the door.
- Induction floor loops are available to automatically reverse
the door if the opening is obstructed or to automatically close
the door after the traffic has passed through.
- Radio and infra-red controls are available as a vehicle operated
system of door control.
Let us help you select the right operator and control sequence
for your application.
Model 10000: Single speed at 20 inches per second (ips).
Cobra: High speed - up to 60 ips.
Cobra - DS: Dual speed.
Clark door operators are designed to operate under heavy load
and provide years of trouble free service.
All
operators are supplied NEMA 4- water tight and dust proof for harsh
environments - perfect for wash down areas. Precision ground shafts
ride in sealed bearings. Motors are protected by thermal overload
relay. Doors disconnect easily from drive when required.
Pullcord open / close control is standard. Installing the correct
control sequence will facilitate traffic and protect the door. Pushbottons,
radio control, timers, floor loops, keyed switches, motion detectors,
proximity sensors can be incorporated to provide the smoothest,
fastest, safest control sequence for your application. Call on the
